My new clients tell me “You do fast work! Most of the turnaround-time I deal with is slow.” I’ve always wondered. Do I do fast work or are the others slow? After a little research I found out it’s not that I’m any faster it’s the work flow. Most design agencies have a salesmen, project manager, art director, senior artist/designer, in-house graphic designer or freelance designer. When you deal with an agency you’re most likely not dealing directly with the designer that’s working on your project, you’re dealing with the project manager who relays all the info down the pipe line. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out this drives up the price and slows down the process.
